Rockstar Venture Capitalist - Joann Ellis
Joann’s career has specialized in business development projects to create lean, effective organizations. Under her guidance, Joann has guided companies to raise in excess of $3 million dollars. She has focused much of her attention helping business refine their strategy and focus.

Joann has used Six Sigma process improvement techniques for lending companies to refine procedures related to loan underwriting, marketing, advertising, and collections. Her project to establish standardization across loan centers achieved $600,000 quarterly in savings by reducing loan decision variation between and within branch offices.

Joann holds a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University in quantitative analysis and measurements. In Ohio, Joann worked as a consultant for the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services managing state-level projects. She also worked in Atlanta, GA as a Six Sigma Black Belt for a lending institution. Joann will be covering the 7 steps to getting your project or business venture capital.

Private Money Guru - Lisa Donner
Lisa Donner is a national real estate coach and mentor, investor, business owner and entrepreneur. Lisa has been self employed since she was 23 and has started and ran several successful businesses. She has successfully used various and sometimes creative techniques such as using Private Money to fund deals to purchase property subject to, short sales, REOs, seller financing, rehabbing, auctions, wholesales, used FREE government money, lease optioned, and retailed numerous properties to fund, buy and sell real estate. Today she runs a real estate investor coaching and mentoring program and coaches for national real estate investor and trainer Ron LeGrand. Rick and Lisa have shared their story on stage in front of 100’s of people at various real estate investing seminars.

In today’s market place it is difficult to get traditional funding from banks to fund investment opportunities. Lisa has been successful at finding people that want a higher return on their investments than they are receiving from banks, CD’s, money markets and other investments. Lisa has successfully used Private Money to Fund real estate and business investments by investing in houses, multi-family, and business ideas and opportunities. They have used Private Mortgages from private investors as well as used LLC’s to give people the higher returns they deserve. Lisa will discuss the different opportunities available now in real estate including using Private Money. She’ll discuss how private money works, where to find private money as well as the costs and responsibilities to lenders and borrowers and what documents are needed to secure the loan.
