A way for even
those
whom are too sick or too busy to be successful By Ray Higdon This article is to help that majority of people that fall into the category of having too many health issues to try something new or just being too busy to take on anything new. After exhaustive research I have found the answers that so many people have been looking for. I credit the majority of this article and this information to the producers of the movie titled “What the bleep do we know” and David Schwartz, the author of “The magic of thinking big”. First let’s tackle those that are too sick to try anything new or get outside their comfort zone. After a period of coughing up blood and letting the pain get so bad that he could barely sit on his bicycle, Lance Armstrong was told he had a fifty percent chance of surviving his testicular cancer when he was diagnosed with in 1996. His immediate response to this was not one of woe or self pity. His response was that this disease picked the wrong body! Lance went on to win the tour de France a record 7 times, after he beat the cancer. A severe attack of polio in 1921, at
the age of 39, resulted
in total paralysis of both legs to Franklin Roosevelt’s hips.
Eleanor Roosevelt
thought FDR's polio was "a turning point" that "proved a
blessing in disguise; for it gave him strength and courage he had not
had
before". In 1932 Are your medical issues as severe as
Armstrong’s or
Roosevelt’s and are your goals as lofty as winning the tour
de France 7 times
or becoming the president of the Now let’s talk about those individuals that are too busy. Do you realize how silly this excuse sounds coming from most people to successful people? Whether you are on skid row or Donald Trump there is one thing that is consistent and that is there are 24 hours in every day for everyone on the planet. Are there other people out there that are accomplishing more than you are with the same 24 hours in a day? Are you too busy or too productive? Look at your schedule and try to determine if you are working on anything that may free up your time, if not, do you really want to FOREVER be too busy? Track your week for 2 weeks and then analyze how much time you have left over and how much of your time may be freed up by working smarter. I have a lot of tips on this sort of thing that if added in would make this article very long but if you are interested in getting help with working smarter, shoot me an email at rayhigdon@rayhigdon.com. Whether you are telling yourself or those around you that you are too sick or too busy to be successful or take on a new project, ask yourself this question, “Is this stance serving me” or is it holding me in my current status which is one not of pure happiness or success? If someone around you has accomplished something, know that you can accomplish it as well. Law of Attraction fan? Check this out
